Hunter Jumper

Our mission at Stony Hill Stables is to set goals and achieve them, whether it's the most beginner level or the highest level of showjumping competition. We specialize in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation. We offer local C-rated through AA-rated showing opportunities at such venues as Sagaponack Horse Show, Old Salem, Fairfield, Princeton, HITS on the Hudson, National Pony Finals, Hampton Classic, Kentucky Horse Park, Winter Equestrian Festival, World Equestrian Center, and other fantastic venues on the East Coast and Midwest.

Greta Heimbold

Greta Heimbold encompasses a lifetime of riding and dedication to the equestrian sport. Greta is an expert in hunters, jumpers and equitation. She is an Alumni of Cazenovia College, and she continued her education with many years riding with our US show jumping coach and many Olympic Veterans. Many of the horses and ponies Greta has trained have become top winners in the US and Canada. Greta as well as her students have had many wins at venues across the United States and Canada, including WEF, WEC, HITS, Tryon, Vermont Summer Festival, Lake Placid, Devon, Kentucky, The Royal as well as many other shows. Greta enjoys setting goals with her students and achieving them with positive training. Her teaching techniques have yielded many top professional riders and top competitors showing at WEF, including 1.40m Grand Prix riders.

MIchelle Sharma

Michelle Sharma joined the Stony Hill Stables team as a trainer and our facility manager in 2018. She is a graduate of Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre. She went on to teach at the Manor for the next 7 years, eventually becoming head of the farrier and jumping programs. Having always wanted to explore the world, in 2011 Michelle moved to New Zealand, where she trained young racehorses. In 2012 she continued her travels and headed to India, where she managed a pony club in Chennai. Over the next 4 years Michelle's "My Pony Club" became a popular and acclaimed club. She returned to the US in 2017, where she was most recently an instructor teaching riders of varied levels.

annie beeson

Annie Beeson delights in bringing horses into the lives of people of all ages and experience levels.  She began riding as a child in the Pacific Northwest, joining United States Pony Club, competing in dressage and eventing, and riding up the backyard mountains of the West. She continued to ride professionally during her time at University of Oregon, earning a B.A. in Digital Art. After college she worked as a trainer and instructor in a teaching and training program in Oregon. Teaching and connecting with her students to help them become confident riders and well-rounded people has become a great love in her life.

Molly Erikson

Molly began riding at the age of 8 in her home state of Rhode Island.  Finding her passion she joined a pony club at her local farm and competed in shows at state and regional levels.  Molly's main focus is in hunter jumper training.  During her time at the University of Rhode Island, she rode and competed at the intercollegiate level.  She has also spent time training under a USDF silver medalist and enjoyed summers playing polo with the Newport International Polo Club.  Molly turned her love of horses into the start of her career by managing a Dressage boarding and training facility in Charlestown, Rhode Island.  In her free time, Molly enjoys riding her horse Cody and visiting home.
