Job Description

Teaching a combination of private and group lessons to students of various ages and abilities on a wonderful selection of school horses, as well as client-owned horses, at our state-of-the-art facility. In addition, assist in the day-to-day management of the farm and care of the horses, meaning some grooming/feeding responsibilities are required.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching children and adults of beginning and intermediate levels. A confident, enthusiastic approach toward students to help foster the love of horses through lessons and activities is required. The applicant must be outgoing and work well with others. We are team-oriented with a positive and supportive work environment and competitive pay.

Facility/Barn Manager

Job Description

Growing established equestrian facility looking for an experienced facility/barn manager to join our team. The manager will oversee a team of grooms and maintenance staff to ensure proper care of the hunter, jumper, and dressage horses onsite as well as the upkeep of the property. The ideal candidate would be a catalyst for creating and maintaining superior standards for our equine and human athletes.

The barn/facility manager will oversee the maintenance of the arena, feeding (with assistant manager), incoming and outgoing boarders (equipment, orchestration, etc.), vet/farrier visits, horse care, ensure maintenance of show equipment, record keeping/billing, and coordinate with management staff on show and employee schedule. 

Job Requirements
  • Candidate should have show barn experience, have excellent client relation skills and the ability to multi-task and delegate work to employees.

  • Bilingual is a plus but not required

  • Some teaching experience preferred but not required

  • Must have knowledge of basic equine first aid, IM and IV injections.

  • Absolutely must be outgoing, love working with people as well as horses and have a team oriented focus.

  • Must have knowledge in the sport.

Hunter/Jumper Trainer

Job Description

The job entails maintaining the training of client horses and ponies for show, teaching both children and adults of various levels and coaching students at rated shows. Other duties may include starting potential clients on our safe school horses. 

Job Requirements

The applicant should be experienced with preparing both children and adult students for rated shows as well as coaching students at rated shows.

The applicant should have the ability to maintain hunter, equitation, and jumpers for their respective divisions for clients and be willing to start up and coming students on school horses.

In addition to possessing excellent people skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships, the applicant should be willing to work with other trainers, managers, and grooms as part of a team.
