Teaching a combination of private and group lessons to students of various ages and abilities on a wonderful selection of school horses, as well as client-owned horses, at our state-of-the-art facility. In addition, assist in the day-to-day management of the farm and care of the horses, meaning some grooming/feeding responsibilities are required.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching children and adults of beginning and intermediate levels. A confident, enthusiastic approach toward students to help foster the love of horses through lessons and activities is required. The applicant must be outgoing and work well with others. The job entails maintaining the training of client horses and ponies for show, teaching both children and adults of various levels and coaching students at rated shows. Other duties may include starting potential clients on our safe school horses.
The applicant should be experienced with preparing both children and adult students for rated shows as well as coaching students at rated shows.
The applicant should have the ability to maintain hunter, equitation, and jumpers for their respective divisions for clients and be willing to start up and coming students on school horses.
In addition to possessing excellent people skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships, the applicant should be willing to work with other trainers, managers, and grooms as part of a team.
